VTC, road bikes, or VAE (electrically assisted bikes), we offer a wide choice of bikes for hire for your stays in Corsica.
Hire your bike in Corsica or bring your own bike? It can be tempting to bring your own road bike if you are used to it but remember that a bike will take up space in addition to your luggage, and that it could also be damaged in transit. Check with your airline for possibilities.
Renting a bike allows you to benefit from a quality service: the cycle equipment is robust and adapted, and we work with local partners in the different regions of the island.
The cycle rental also allows you to experiment with other types of bike: a carbon road bike for which you'll need your climbing legs or an e-bike which can be a real ally on the steep Corsica climbs.
The non-assisted bikes available for hire in Corsica are aluminium or carbon road bikes, classic mountain bikes/hybrid bikes or electrically assisted bikes (EAB). Please contact us for more details.
In case of a puncture, you have everything you need to repair it (repair kit, pump). The bikes are systematically serviced between each rental.
Before each rental, a security deposit must be paid by the client in the form of a credit card imprint. The amount of this security deposit varies according to the model chosen. In addition, an inventory of fixtures of the bicycle will be made at the departure, as well as another one at the end of the hiring.
To keep in mind :
- yellow waistcoats must be worn at nightfall and in case of poor visibility (fog, heavy rain, etc.)
- helmets are compulsory for children up to the age of 12, and highly recommended for all.
- Most routes are on roads with little traffic, but shared with cars: keep to the right, in single file.
